Ingredients
1 cup warm (not boiling) water
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon raw honey
½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Instructions
1. Add lemon juice and honey to a mug.
2. Stir in the freshly grated ginger.
3. Pour in warm water and stir until honey dissolves.
4. Sip slowly, ideally on an empty stomach.
Notes
You can substitute honey with maple syrup or agave if desired.
For a Brazilian twist, steep butterfly pea tea and add it before the rest.
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for up to 2 days in the fridge.
