- 1 large yellow onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste

- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom condensed soup
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken condensed soup
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 bag (16 ounces) frozen green beans, thawed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes until browned and translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Drain excess grease from the skillet.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and milk until smooth.
- Add the beef mixture to the soup mixture; stir gently to combine.
- Fold in green beans and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the filling.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until melted.
- Let the hotdish rest for 10 minutes before serving.
